KidZAid received a Book Dash order just in time for Christmas and the school holidays.A delightful collection of colourful “child sized” stories in Zulu, English or wordless, for the Crèche children to take home as their own.

In December 2024, Diane van Dam very kindly agreed to screen some children at the Community Outreach Centre (COC), one of the KidZAid beneficiaries. Diane is an Orthoptist, one who diagnoses and treats those with eye muscle problems ( weaknesses and squints). She tested the children’s eyesight using the Snellens test

In 2024, KidZAid was able to install water tanks at 2 ECDs managed by the Community Outreach Centre, in Mariannhill, where there was no municipal supply. The children and teachers at KwaNdengenzi Crèche and at Zwelibomvu Crèche now have water for cleaning and washing. KidZAid also provided small watering cans
