Nestled on the grounds of Mariannridge Methodist Church, Candyfloss Crèche cares for 17 children between the ages of 3 and 5.  This nurturing environment is a lifeline for many families who need to work during the day. With most children attending nearby government schools, the crèche fills a crucial gap, providing a safe and stimulating space for early childhood development.

Candyfloss pre-school is run by Principal, Charmaine Cupido and is open from 6am to 5pm. The children are introduced to foundation phase maths, english literacy, arts and crafts. They also receive a mid-day meal and have a nap. 

Candyfloss Creche is KidZAid’s most recent beneficiary. KidZAid’s sponsorship is used to feed the children and ensure they are well-nourished. When available, books, blankets and clothes are donated. 

Thanks to KidZAid, a new jungle gym has brought endless joy to the children, offering them a safe and fun place to play and grow. In keeping with KidZAid’s goal to improve literacy, in 2024 each child at Candyfloss was given 2 “Book Dash” books to own and take home.
